Jeniene Cenoz is captain of Team Alex, Luke, Mateo and Sam. She’s participating in AMM because of four special boys. Her team is in honor of Alex Cenoz, who was diagnosed with leukemia 17 years ago, and today is a sophomore at University of Oregon, and in honor of Mateo Cota, who was diagnosed with ALL before his 2nd birthday. Her participation in AMM is also in memory of Luke Ydens, who shared a hospital room with Alex at Stanford and who passed away from leukemia, and in memory of Sam Jeffers, whose cancer was diagnosed when he was in second grade.
