At work, Dr. Alex Huang, a pediatric oncologist, leads a research team at Case Reserve University’s Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Their focus is on developing cancer immunotherapies, targeted treatments that use the body’s immune system to fight cancer. Outside of work, he’s leading “Run, Alex, Run,” an AMM team dedicated to raising money for cancer research. “Run, Alex! Run!” is raising funds in memory of childhood cancer hero Princess Keira, whose bravery and life inspired the team to work even harder to find cures for cancer in children and adolescents. This is the second year that Dr. Huang and his colleagues are participating in Alex’s Million Mile taking their support of finding a cure outside the lab and into the streets!
