Jeff Hoenig, the captain of Team Lemonade-and-a-Dash-of-Whiskey, was looking for a 5K to run when he heard about AMM’s kick-off 5K on September 1 in Hudson River Park. Excited to boost his fitness while helping out a good cause, he started his team. Just like running and fundraising go together, the lemonade-whiskey combo was too delicious to resist and Jeff’s wife and sister have decided to join his team. Jeff has committed to run 20 miles and raise $200, and has told his donors he’ll run an additional mile for every additional $10 raised….so let’s see how far he can go!
