Run, Alex, Run!

Dr. Alex Huang is a pediatric oncology doctor at Case Western Reserve University Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. He is leading a research team focused on using cancer immunotherapies to treat pediatric brain tumors. He received a 2012 ALSF Innovation Grant for his research.
His team is dedicating their efforts in memory of Keira Kilbane and Kelly Kinney, whose lives inspired them to work harder in hopes of finding a cure for childhood and adolescent cancer. Dr. Huang is also a three-time Alex’s Million Mile participant – he was also a team captain in 2013 and 2014! This year his team has raised more than $3,200 and gone nearly 1,700 miles!
