Maci is a multi-talented big sister. She’s a mix of athleticism and creativity – constantly playing sports and making her own art. Her favorite medium is drawing, so she fills her time creating new pictures.

At 10 years old, Maci is the eldest of three. Her youngest brother, Grayson, is five, and her cancer hero, Landon, is eight. In 2020, Landon was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. As he works through the maintenance phase of treatment until November 2023, Maci has made it her mission to be there for her little brother.

Her mom, Ashley, is proud of Maci for taking it upon herself to check up on Landon throughout her journey. Maci is always asking what she can do to help out and thoughtfully keeps Landon’s well-being at the forefront of her mind.

The best advice Maci’s family has for other families affected by childhood cancer is to focus on the present. They suggest stepping away from the big picture and taking life one day at a time.

As Maci continues to be there for her family during a difficult time, both Maci and Grayson are enrolled in Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s SuperSibs program to receive special mailings and support throughout their journey.
