Kynzie is a cheerful 12-year-old who loves Christmas, unicorns, cheetahs and the color purple. She enjoys cooking and making art in her spare time. Kynzie has a heart of gold and uses it to celebrate those around her. Although she has her own medical challenges, like epilepsy and a global developmental delay, Kynzie adores her sister Kyndall and always does her best to support her.
When Kyndall was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma, Kynzie focused on ways to make those around her feel better. Throughout her sister’s journey, Kynzie has learned to roll with the punches life throws at her. Even though she can’t always tell her family how she’s feeling, she does her best to be brave and keep moving forward.
On days when Kynzie is struggling with the amount of attention her sister is receiving while she’s in treatment, her love for Kyndall outweighs her jealousy. And when she is away at the hospital, Kynzie misses her terribly. When Kynzie is feeling down, she turns to the occasional card or package or trip to Target help lift her spirits.
