Adrian is a strong boy who loves to skateboard, swim, play piano and guitar.  He also enjoys movies, the outdoors, football and basketball.  

Adrian’s mom is proud of him for staying as strong as he has...he had to grow up fast by taking on responsibilities that he wouldn't have had to otherwise.  He reminds his mother of what is important and why they have to keep fighting.

Adrian has had to help cheer his sister up. He helped when she didn't want to eat and has been there when all she wanted was him. Despite her ongoing crying and her attitude while on steroids, he was so patient.  It has been very hard, especially when the family was in isolation because Adrian had to stay with them because at 12 years old, he was not able to be on his own.  He was deprived of so much and had to be patient all the time, from long waits at the hospital to two long years in this journey and still going.   Not to mention, we lost our home so we all had to move in to the Ronald McDonald House.  Yet, he continues to be strong and tries so hard to stay standing.

It has been helpful for Adrian to have had Side-by Side buddies. That really helped him a lot.
