Values for Healthy Children
Each laboratory and lab handbook has slightly different reference values for each type of blood test. There is also variation in values for children of different ages. For instance, in children ranging in age from newborn to 4 years, granulocytes are lower and lymphocytes are higher than the numbers listed below. The following table lists blood tests and blood count values for healthy children older than 4 years of age.
