About Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)

We’re changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

Alex’s Vision

In 2000, when she was just four years old, our founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott held a lemonade stand in her front yard, raising $2,000. Alex was battling neuroblastoma and wanted to donate the money to help doctors find cures for all children battling cancer.

Our Reach

Since that first stand, we have funded more than 1,500 cutting-edge research projects at nearly 150 institutions in the U.S. and Canada. We focus on innovation through new, impactful projects like our Childhood Cancer Data Lab and Crazy 8 Initiative.

Where the Money Goes

Your Impact

With the help of our supporters, we’re propelling the world toward a future without childhood cancer. From hosting stands and events to joining the One Cup at a Time Club, everyone can make a difference and help find cures for childhood cancer.
