Aubrie lives in Louisiana and loves swimming, purses and her dog Titan. She is also just nineteen months old and bravely battling rhabdomyosarcoma.

Aubrie was first diagnosed with an ear infection and ruptured ear drum, but her health didn’t improve after being put on medication. Her aunt Jenn brought her to the emergency room looking for some answers where a body scan revealed a tumor. Specialists at the Children's Hospital in New Orleans did more scans and a biopsy and it was then that little Aubrie was diagnosed with Stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the muscles. The cancer had also spread to her lungs.

The primary tumor is in Aubrie’s throat and is restricting her airway, so she has had a tracheotomy to help her breathe. Aubrie is currently in treatment and will have radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.

Aubrie’s family hopes that someday nobody else will have to go through what they (and Aubrie) have experienced. But, more than anything they want for Aubrie to be free of cancer and do whatever she dreams of. They simply want her to have the chance to grow up.
