The Resource Directory is designed to help connect families with additional organizations that provide a variety of services and support. Son Ministries |
Provides gas cards, grocery cards, pay outstanding utilities, rent and mortgages, assist with funerals and school supplies to critically ill children experiencing extensive treatments and financial burdens. |
Sophia's Hope |
Childhood cancer survivors (3) and childhood cancer siblings (3) can apply to receive a scholarship toward their college education. Recipients will receive a $2,000 allowance for tuition/room and board, plus a laptop or tablet (first-time awardees only). |
Spare Key |
Spare Key’s mission is to provide assistance to families in crisis with critically ill or seriously injured family members through housing grant payment assistance, engaged resource referral and advocacy. |

Offers financial relief, scholarships, and emotional support for families battling childhood chancer. |
Special Spaces |
Special Spaces creates dream bedrooms for children with cancer. Their goal is to provide these children with a special space where they can not only sleep, but also play, heal and spend time away from the challenges of their illness. A place for them just to be a kid! |

Starlight brings joy and comfort to hospitalized children and their families. |
Stephen T. Marchello Scholarship Foundation |
Allocating post-secondary scholarship monies to survivors of childhood cancer, specifically current-year high school graduates. |
Stepping Stones of Hope |
Dedicated to providing comprehensive support-based programs, continuum of care and education to grieving children, teens, families, adults and communities. |
Still Strong Foundation |
Provides assistance with mortgages and utilities for families battling childhood cancer. |
Stupid Cancer |
Offers programs and services, such as its annual conferences, to young adults with cancer as well as a list of resources. |
Sunshine Foundation |
Purpose is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, aged three to eighteen, whose families cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child's illness may cause. |
Sunshine Kids |
The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America. |
SuperSibs Powered by ALSF |
Childhood cancer affects the whole family, not only the child who receives the diagnosis. SuperSibs is dedicated to comforting, encouraging, and empowering siblings during their family’s battle against childhood cancer so they can face the future with courage and hope. |
Swifty Foundation |
The Swifty Foundation's mission is to raise funds and awareness for pediatric brain cancer research by supporting tissue donation, research collaboration and medulloblastoma research. |
Sy's Fund |
Provides funding for meaningful gifts and integrative therapies (acupuncture, massage therapy, etc.) for those ages 18-39 in treatment or with a chronic cancer-like condition. |

Tamarack Grief Resource Center offers creative, active, meaningful gatherings for bereaved kids, teens, and adults in Western Montana. |
Tanner's Team |
We help families in central Minnesota cover housing, transportation, and household expenses incurred during their child's care and treatment. |
Team IMPACT |
Team IMPACT tackles the emotional trauma and social isolation experienced by children facing serious and chronic illnesses by matching them with a college athletic team. Through our two-year therapeutic program, that complements a child's medical treatments, children develop relationships and skills that help them complete the full circle of healing. |
