POST Awards

The Pediatric Oncology Student Training (POST) program is helping to fill the pipeline for our next generation of pediatric oncology researchers. Designed for undergraduate, graduate and medical students who have an interest in research and would like to experience the field firsthand. Students train with one of ALSF’s funded researchers for the summer, gaining insights and providing an extra set of hands in the quest to find new cures for kids with cancer.

Flashes of Hope

Flashes of Hope is a program of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation that creates free, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer. Award-winning photographers turn a routine day into a celebration, capturing smiles and forever preserving images of courage, beauty and dignity. These photos are offered to childhood cancer families at no cost and leave a lasting memory.

Travel For Care

The mission of ALSF’s Travel For Care program is to ensure children battling cancer have the financial assistance needed to travel to clinical trials, experimental therapeutics or treatment innovations not currently available at their local institution. The program provides families in immediate need with transportation and lodging. In 2021, ALSF helped more than 400 families through the Travel For Care program!
