L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade is Back in 2024!

Delightful and delicious, L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade brings superstar chefs, brewers, vintners and mixologists to Los Angeles to lend their support to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and the fight against childhood cancer.

Hosted by Chef Suzanne Goin and business partner, Caroline Styne, along with Chef David Lentz, this fun and family-friendly afternoon features one-of-a-kind food and drink samplings. Guests can mingle with the gourmet chefs behind the dishes and taste fine dining from across the country. With over $1.3 million raised in 2023, this event’s impact only continues to grow for all kids with cancer. Come join us this year for food and fun for the whole family!

Where Is the Event?

Royce Quad (also known as Dickson Court on Google Maps) located on UCLA's campus. If you are using a rideshare app, please plug in this address:

375 Portola Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095.

How Do I Get There and Where Do I Park?

Parking is $15 per car in Parking Structure 2 and 3. To get to the Parking Structures from the 405:

  1. Take the Sunset Blvd. exit east (toward UCLA).
  2. After you pass the UCLA campus on your right, turn right onto Hilgard Ave.

For Parking Structure 3:

  1. Turn right onto Charles E Young Drive East.
  2. Turn right onto Charles E Young Drive North.
  3. Turn Right into the parking structure.
     

For Parking Structure 2:

  1. Make a right onto Westholme Ave.
  2. Make an immediate left onto the ramp and into Structure 2.
  3. Park in any unmarked space.

To Pay for Parking:

1. Use the Bruins E-Permit Link to purchase parking for the event.
2. Select L.A. Love’s Alex’s Lemonade from under “UCLA Campus Event”.
3. Select Parking Garage 2 or 3.
4. Fill out plate number and car information (this will be your permit). If you only have a back-plate, please park with the plate facing out.
5. Complete the transaction.

Signs will guide you from the parking lot to Royce Quad. It is a five-minute walk, about 0.3 miles.

Where Is My Ticket?

There are no physical tickets for this event. Guest names will be on a list at check-in upon arrival. Please check in at the proper table for your ticket type. Kids 12 and under are free with an accompanying adult and do not need a ticket to enter the event.

What If It Rains?

Bring an umbrella! This event is rain or shine.

What Should I Wear?

Think California casual – come as comfortable or as stylish as you like! Please note the event takes place on grass, so please choose your shoes accordingly.

What Is the Event Timeline?

11:30 am: VIP/All Access/Sponsor arrival and entry
12 pm: General Admission arrival/Event begins
2 pm: Program/Live Auction (food/beverage tents will close at this time and reopen when the Program ends)
3:30 pm: Silent Auction closes
4 pm: Event ends

Inspired while attending The Great Chefs Event Philadelphia, hosts Suzanne Goin, business partner Caroline Styne, (The Lucques Group), and David Lentz decided to hold a similar event in the Los Angeles area. Enlisting the help of culinary friends from the Los Angeles area and throughout the United States, the L.A.
