Beginning Wednesday, June 17, 2020, Insomnia Cookies will team up with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to take a stand against childhood cancer. Insomnia Cookies will donate .10 cents from the sale of every Lemon White Chocolate Chip cookie sold while supplies last.
Childhood cancer nonprofit, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, is debuting a special coloring book in collaboration with local renowned pet artist, Jay McClellan. McClellan is famously known for his commissioned dog paintings that are featured at the White Dog Cafe restaurants throughout the Philadelphia area. Once complete, the coloring book will be sold at Alex's Shop and on Amazon.com, with all proceeds benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A St. Petersburg girl, who is a cancer survivor, raised over $2,500 in hot chocolate sales to go toward childhood cancer on New Year's Eve.
Caroline Gallagher was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 18 months old. She was treated at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.
Her cancer is in remission but she wants to help her friends who are still fighting.
Ailani's family calls her a true Warrior Princess as she fights acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Doctors discovered Ailani harbored a rare genetic mutation which makes standard treatment ineffective. Today, Ailani has reached remission!
