My beautiful, loving son Thomas passed away at the tender age of 13 on Oct. 7, 2011. He literally brought the world together by his desire to live and his everlasting smile. He endured five invasive brain surgeries, two separate forms of radiation to the brain and countless rounds of chemo. He also battled and beat AML, a form of leukemia. He never would pray for himself, for Thomas it was always, “what can we do” for the child in the next room. How he could help others– that was Thomas. He taught me how to love deeper than I ever thought possible. His outlook was positive, his spirit always high and his strength inspiring. He battled and won for nearly 11 years. Congratulations on a life well lived and on a job well done.
