On January 19, 2010, a large mass was found in Patrick's abdomen.  The diagnosis of neuroblastoma (Stage 4, High-risk) was confirmed on January 29.  Patrick has undergone 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a major surgery, 13 days of radiation, stem cell harvesting and stem cell transplant, 5 rounds of anti-body and accutane treatments, countless shots, tests, scans, transfusions, etc.  He is still a happy, active, loving little boy.  He is not only my son, but my inspiration and my hero.
