Little Ayla loves animals and anything princesses! Her favorite princess movies are Moana, Encanto, and Frozen.

Before she was diagnosed, Ayla started to look pale and did not want to walk. She became incredibly tired. Her parents also noticed random bruising and petechial rashes on her skin.

After being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Ayla received daily medications, weekly chemotherapy and blood count checks, and multiple lumbar punctures and blood transfusions. It has been a lot for a 2-year-old girl, and today she is still fighting.

Ayla’s parents want her to live a long, healthy, and happy life after treatment. She is their hero because she is so strong and can still smile despite everything she is going through. They hope she gets to follow her dreams one day.

To others who may also be facing a childhood cancer diagnosis, Ayla’s parents say to enjoy every moment with your child. You have to go through bad days to find the good. And there are foundations like Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation that give them hope that one day there will be better and safer medicine available!
