Lemonade Days Tips from our Lemonade Leaders

Martha’s lemonade stand tip:
Make it personal and do not set a price. Just ask for a donation and you will be surprised how generous people are.

Nicole’s lemonade stand tip:
Pick a central spot that gets a lot of foot traffic. Reach out to nurses, doctors, teachers, classmates, neighbors, etc. and invite them to your stand! We have also found that when people learn of Alex's story and the mission behind ALSF, they just want to help in any way they can.

Shellie’s lemonade stand tip:
Advertise, advertise, advertise!
Blow up social media, Facebook, Instagram, etc. make flyers and hang them up at local businesses.

Amanda’s lemonade stand tip:
Just do it! It doesn’t have to be elaborate. And let your kids take the lead – there's something so special about kids helping kids. Let them own it.

Sarah’s lemonade stand tip:
Ask for donations instead of setting a specific price. We usually include other items to complement the lemonade too: can koozies, cookies, etc.

Orlee’s lemonade stand tip:
Have fun! Include friends to help you with your stand. The more people who help and participate, the better.

Wilton Auto & Tire’s lemonade stand tip:
Start small. When you can successfully execute a smaller event, you can start to add fun things like a contest or a community partnership with a local business like we’re doing now.

Miss Caitlin’s lemonade stand tip:
Just host a stand! ALSF makes it easy and what child doesn’t like to have a lemonade stand? It is a great way to end the school year.
