Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, will host its first-ever virtual auction on from Wednesday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 24. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected ALSF’s ability to host in-person special events, however the fight to end childhood cancer continues and children need us now more than ever. Deciding to pivot from auctions at special events to a virtual auction will support ALSF’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund which directly supports families’ immediate needs by providing grocery assistance, extending safe, isolated lodging near treatment centers and facilitating travel for care. Since March 19, ALSF has provided more than $360,000 to over 1,200 families across the country.
