Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) will host the 5th Annual Lemon Mixer presented by Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Kansas City. The Lemon Mixer is Friday, January 10, 2020 from 7-10 PM at The Abbott in Kansas City, MO. Proceeds from the annual event will benefit childhood cancer research through ALSF.
The event is hosted by local celebrity, Christa Dubill. Special guests include Kansas City Royals left fielder Alex Gordon and his wife Jamie. Alex and Jamie are longtime supporters of ALSF in the Midwest. This year, the Gordon’s are donating a dinner catered by award-winning chefs from Fiorella’s. The dinner will take place at the winner’s home and feature Alex and Jamie Gordon as guests. The Lemon Mixer supports local institutions like Children’s Mercy Kansas City, which received $50,000 from last year’s event to continue research for better treatments and cures. Once again, Children’s Mercy will receive a portion of the Fund a Cure.
The Lemon Mixer will be a night of fabulous food, Tito’s Handmade Vodka signature drinks and live entertainment from Kyle Austin, all to raise funds for childhood cancer research. The night will also feature a Wine & Whiskey Pull. This year, local childhood cancer heroes Charlie Walsh, Allyson Imhoff and Ian Kelly will share their stories with the crowd.
