Garrett is an energetic 3 year old who was diagnosed with an optic pathway glioma in 2016, leaving him blind in his left eye. To prevent further damage, their family was forced to travel from Maryland to Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York for treatment at different hospitals. Travel for Care helped his family secure hotel rooms during their travels to provide greater peace of mind during this difficult time. After a successful procedure to remove the glioma in August of 2017, his last three MRI’s have shown no new tumors or tumor growth! He has been a rockstar throughout his entire fight and a great big brother to his younger sister Presley. They are so grateful to ALSF for supporting their family while Garrett faced his treatments so bravely.
