- Decide which stock you’ll donate. You’ll need the name of the stock, ticker symbol and number of shares you want to donate.
- Locate the appropriate stock donation forms, typically found on your brokerage firm’s website. Several commonly used forms are linked here, but please contact your brokerage firm directly for assistance: E-Trade, Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard
- Complete the form using ALSF’s account information above. Depending on your brokerage firm, you may be able to submit the forms electronically, or you will have to submit them by mail.
- Notify ALSF of your stock donation using the form below. This will help us confirm the transfer and deliver a tax deduction receipt.

How long will my stock donation take?
It typically takes about a week for the donation to be transferred to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. If you choose to give through DonateStock, they will issue your receipt. Otherwise, Alex’s Lemonade Stand will provide a receipt. If you did not receive a receipt, please email Lexi Gratton at L.Gratton@AlexsLemonade.org.
