New York Chef Alex Guarnaschelli hosts Lemon: NYC, a culinary event to fight childhood cancer on Tuesday, October 27, 2015
New York, NY – Continuing their efforts to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, 20+ superstar chefs are gathering once more for Lemon: NYC—an exclusive culinary event benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation—on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 6-9pm at 225 Liberty Street, 43rd Floor, New York, NY. Hosted by Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and presented by Toys”R”Us®, the fundraiser will bring renowned chefs together to cook for and mingle with guests in an informal, Lower Manhattan setting.
This year made, possible by Executive Chefs sponsors Northwestern Mutual and Volvo, the plates will be offered in a grazing/cocktail environment, rather than a seated dinner. Guests will have the opportunity to engage in casual conversations with their favorite chefs—including Guarnaschelli, Harold Dieterle, Marcus Samuelsson, Bill Telepan and more—while sampling a wide range of sweet and savory dishes.
In addition to the culinary aspects, guests will hear from ALSF founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott’s parents, Liz and Jay Scott, about the importance of funding childhood cancer research projects. Attendees will be able to participate in live and silent auctions throughout the night as well, giving them the chance to win unique, exciting prizes for a great cause.
Individual tickets for Lemon: NYC are priced at $350 and sponsorships are available. For more information, visit AlexsLemonade.org/LemonNYC
