Project Description: 

Dr. Vik and his team will start the next phase of their project to genetically screen for the presence of leukemia in Kenyan children. The one year grant from ALSF will provide a year of funding to develop DNA sequencing technology that will allow them to use blood samples from malaria testing slides, as a source of DNA.
