The Childhood Cancer Blog

ALSF Website Issues

Home » Blog

You may have noticed that our website, AlexsLemonade.org, is currently down. As of Saturday afternoon, our website experienced a major failure that will affect our supporters’ fundraising pages as well as the content of our website. We are working very hard to recapture as much information as possible and get the website back up and running. Please be assured that there was no data/personal information compromised, security issues or actual loss of donations. We still have records of every donation made to your page and these donations will continue to be allocated to childhood cancer research projects. However, we know that some content will be outdated and even lost, including some fundraising page text, photos and the listing of donations and totals. We anticipate the site to be back up within 24 hours, although there will still be additional updates being made over the next 10 days before fundraising pages and donor lists are restored. Our priority will be working with you to rebuild these pages to accurately reflect all of your incredible efforts in the fight against childhood cancer.

Obviously, this news is disappointing to us and we expect it will be disappointing to you, our most loyal supporters of the cause. However, it is an opportunity to persevere, move forward and improve as we continue to do our best to help children with cancer. We appreciate your support on this journey and ask for your help and patience as we work to get the site up and operational again.

We will be posting daily updates regarding the website to this blog in an effort to keep you informed, but not overwhelm your email inbox. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns at [email protected] or call our office during normal business hours at (866) 333-1213.

Gratefully yours,
