A year ago, brothers Tyson and Reece joined the fight against pediatric cancer when they baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies, mixed up some lemonade and hung their yellow banner above a lemonade stand.
The two boys, who were 9 and 7 at the time, stopped their neighbors and waved signs to attract people to their stand. With some help from their mom and social media, the boys raised $320.
The Lititz stand was one of more than 1,200 that popped up throughout Pennsylvania last year. Collectively, these stands helped bring in more than $2.7 million to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
