A&P

A&PA&P has a long standing relationship with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and Alex herself.
Several years ago, Alex and her mom were shopping for lemonade stand supplies at their local Superfresh grocery store. Upon seeing her cart loaded with lemonade and cups, the local manager was curious as to what she was planning. After Alex and her mom explained that she was having a stand to help kids with cancer, the manager donated all of the supplies. That was the start of a special partnership that was embraced by all of the A&P, Pathmark, Superfresh, Waldbaum’s and The Food Emporium stores and a vow to support Alex’s mission.

Since 2004, A&P’s fundraising campaigns have raised more than $1 million for the Foundation in addition to creating awareness of childhood cancer and the need to support pediatric cancer research. From June 6 through June 15, 2014 - A&P held their annual ALSF fundraising campaign and  raised over $200,000 for ALSF!
