A young cancer survivor is stepping in to help out other kids battling the disease.

10-year-old Conner Honeycutt hosted Alex's Lemonade Stand in Lexington in the Rookwood neighborhood Saturday.

The stand is part of Alex's Lemonade Days, which raises awareness and funds to find cures for childhood cancers.

This is the second time Conner has hosted a stand.

He was diagnosed with acute lypho-blastic leukemia at the age of two.

Connor will soon hit his five-year cancer-free mark.

He says he is excited to be able to give back.

"I feel really blessed to be doing this," says Conner Honeycutt. "I was also diagnosed with leukemia so I just want to give back to them. I just want to help kids. I like being helpful."

Alex's Lemonade Days runs through June 14th.
