The Space Coast's wait for a Red Robin Gourmet Burgers ends in two weeks.
The burger chain will open its first Brevard restaurant at 11 a.m. Aug. 24 at 1900 W. New Haven Ave., in front of Dillard's at Melbourne Square mall, according to a press release.
To celebrate the opening, Red Robin will donate all sales of its signature Freckled Lemonade from Aug. 24-30 to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to finding cures for children with cancer.
"We're thrilled to welcome Red Robin to Melbourne Square," Elyse Munger, director of marketing and business development at Melbourne Square said in the news release. "Red Robin has a passionate burger connoisseur following and rounds out our exciting selection of family restaurants, which includes the recently opened Outback Steakhouse and BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse."
