If you head to the Eastwood Mall this weekend, you’ll probably see a lemonade stand set up outside Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.

It’s all for “Alex’s Lemonade Days,” which aims to raise money to help in the fight against childhood cancer.

All the money raised from sales of the lemonade goes to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization created in honor of Alexandra Scott.

Last year, the restaurant in Niles raised about $4,000, and they’d like to exceed that this year.

“Whenever you’re running a restaurant, it’s always good to give back to the community, be a part of the community, and this is something we do to give back,” Firebirds Bar Manager Michael Overholt said.

Volunteers will be out in front of the restaurant serving lemonade from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Sunday.
