In an effort to join the battle against childhood cancer, Danielle Benoit’s therapeutic biomaterials laboratory from the University of Rochester will host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand during Alex’s Lemonade Days (June 12-14, 2015) on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rochester Public Market (280 Union St. North, Rochester, NY 14609) and Sunday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Brighton Farmers Market (1150 South Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 146128).

Benoit and her lab are excited to follow in Alex Scott’s example by raising funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer.
The Benoit lab will be providing lemonade and hand crafted balloon animals in an effort to raise money for this tremendous cause.

New this year, 50 families across the country have been selected to represent their states and join Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) in the fight against childhood cancer during Alex’s Lemonade Days (June 12-14). These Hero Family State Representatives, all of whom have been personally impacted by childhood cancer, will share their stories, hold their own lemonade stands, and spread word about the fundraiser and the ALSF mission throughout their communities.
