This weekend volunteers will be selling fresh lemonade at Firebirds Wood Fire Grill in Richmond to help raise money and awareness about childhood cancer.

All proceeds will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization in honor of Alexandra “Alex” Scott who died in 2004 from cancer at the age of 8.

This weekend volunteers will sell fresh lemonade and lemon berry custard desserts.

Firebirds is aiming to raise $75,000 during “Alex’s Lemonade Days.”

The lemonade will be sold on June 12-14 from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Firebirds Wood Fire Grill located at 11448 Belvedere Vista Lane.
