Several local children will be serving lemonade to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

The sixth annual “Evie and Mandy’s Alex’s Lemonade” stand will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 5, at 1231 Huntington Drive in Orangeburg. All the funds that are raised through this lemonade go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a registered 501c3 charity started by 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who battled neuoblastoma, a type of cancer.
