Lindbergh High School (LHS) band members will play music for 36 hours straight April 17-18 to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand, and to honor a young band buddy who died last year after a brave battle with cancer.
The musicthon will run from 7 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Saturday in the Lindbergh High School commons, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd., and continue from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday in the LHS band room.
The musicthon will raise money in honor of a young man named Alex, who died in January 2014 after a three-year battle with cancer. (He is not the same Alex as the lemonade stand's namesake.)
