With every passing year, the lemonade keeps getting sweeter, reminding the Gray family their daughter Samantha is a survivor.
This year will be no exception when Sami, as she prefers to be called, and her parents Sandy and Dan set up Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Saturday, June 13, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand has special meaning with the family. The Grays met Alex Scott and her family in Pennsylvania at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where their daughters were being treated for neuroblastoma, a life-threatening cancer.
Sami, now 15, was 13 months old and Alex was 4 when they met.
