With half of the registration fees benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand, the first ever Color Run was held on Saturday by the Chanute High School Family Career Community Leaders of America.

Runnners and walkers participating in the event were met with a cloud of colored powder at different checkpoints throughout the five-kilometer fun run and mile and half walk.
