Whether running or walking the 5K race or helping raise funds, The McTigue Financial Group is on a mission to accelerate finding a cure for childhood cancers. The local financial planning firm is joining the national Northwestern Mutual effort to raise funds for childhood cancer research in the third annual Race for Research to be held on July 19th..
"No parent should have to hear the words, 'your child has cancer' said Thomas J. Canale, Managing Director. Yet, more than 15,000 will hear those words this year, according to the National Cancer Institute. "Working together we hope to accelerate the pace of research to find a cure for childhood cancer," he added.
