Bowling Green-Warren County Community Education summer camps will host lemonade stands to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at Natcher Elementary School at 1434 Cave Mill Road and Warren Elementary School at 1846 Loop Ave.
The stands’ theme will be “Fishing for a Cure.” Campers will paint boats to be displayed at the events, and patrons can add fish dedicated to someone who is battling cancer or has battled it in the past to the masts, boats or kayak paddle, said Ashley Forbes, Community Education volunteer and enrichment coordinator.
