Nicholas DaSilva, 7, of Stockholm, will host an Alex's Lemonade Stand on Sunday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Walmart on Route 23 in Franklin.
After battling cancer himself, Nicholas decided to host a lemonade stand to help other children with cancer.
His lemonade stand will be open during the Alex's Lemonade Days.
Nicholas was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma in November of 2013 at the age of 5. For seven months, Nicholas went through chemotherapy, pet scans, ultrasounds and blood transfusions and platelets. He had major surgery to remove his tumor on Jan. 29, 2014.
Nicholas would like to raise funds to help all children facing cancer, as well as to remember those who are no longer with us.
