For the month of July, Doherty Enterprise Applebee's locations in Florida and Georgia are selling paper lemons to guests for a minimum donation of $1, with 100 percent of the proceeds directly benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand, a 501C3 charity that has raises funds for pediatric cancer research projects. Applebee's will also donate $.25 from the sale of beverages that feature lemonade, including its Bacardi Summer Squeeze, Strawberry Quencher and flavored and frozen lemonades. Applebee's locations in SWFL participating include those in Naples, Fort Myers, Estero, Cape Coral and Punta Gorda.
