Another sign of spring was spotted on Market Street in Kingston — Rita’s will open today.
Rita’s, known for Italian Ice, custards and other frozen treats, will open their doors from noon to 9 p.m. today for the season, said Allan Ciprich, assistant manager.
Ready to provide a taste of spring, flavors such as mango, Georgia Peach and Alex’s Lemonade Italian Ice are ready to be served.
Ciprich said despite the cool weather, they are anticipating a busy day. But their busiest, the first day of spring, Friday, March 20, is yet to come.
