Brandan was diagnosed with childhood cancer when he was 10 months old. He immediately went onto life support and fought for 42 days through an induced coma in the PICU to even begin treatment. He had 245,000 cancer cells at diagnosis and was believed to have 90% or more cancerous cells in his body. He survived 3 respiratory failures and a cardiac failure among other organ failures throughout his fight, but he never gave up! His courage, bravery, strength and fighting spirit gave us reasons to fight with him every step of the way and we continue to honor his accomplishments daily. He received 6 rounds of chemotherapy treatment intravenously and 6 additional rounds in his spinal/brain fluid to treat the cancer that was attacking his nervous system.

He celebrated his first year in remission in October of 2008. He enjoys the outdoors, skiing, skating, biking, camping and hiking. He loves his big sister dearly. His contagious smile brings joy to so many every day as he supports efforts to raise awareness and much needed funds for the cure that someday will be found. Please consider supporting a child, a participant, or a volunteer in their courageous effort to help these children and their families.
