My darling Alex was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 1996 at age 3 1/2 years old. It was heart-wrenching to see my happy vivacious girl go through the grueling treatment. I am so blessed to be able to say that this August she is going into her 13th year cancer free and is a typical teenager celebrating her 17th birthday in July. We could not be more proud and grateful for her.
