In 2006 my brother was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma. He received chemotherapy for four months at AI duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware. He did not need any blood transfusions nor did he have a fever during his treatment, he was made a fighter. In December it would have been two years since his last treatment. He was the upstate hero for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Delaware, and spoke at the light the night to raise cancer awareness. He now does a lot of work with them and is doing his part to help kids with cancer. Every person he sees that has cancer or knows someone with cancer he tells them his quote "You have 0% control of getting cancer but you have 100% control of overcoming it"
