Hey friends and classmates! The ninth grade government has decided to join a fundraiser for Alex's Lemonade Stand called Penny Wars. Alex's Lemonade Stand is an organization supporting the most advanced cancer research. The organization was started by a small girl by the name of Alex who was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma before the age of one. Although Alex may not be alive today, her legacy is carried on by her brothers and the rest of the world who choose to support her cause. If you didn't see our flyers at school, Penny Wars is a fundraiser in which we will be collecting any and all change at the front of the school. It is a contest between the grades and there will be a prize for whomever wins!! So make your wallet a little lighter and participate in Penny Wars! Love, the ninth grade government
