I know our funds tracker on the page doesn't show it, but we raised well over $1,000 for Alex's Lemoande Stand! This was another great event for our school. Students brought their quarters every day and gave generously to the lemonade stand often declaring, "Keep the change." The 5th graders in the kindness and compassion club helped run the stand, along with some 3rd graders who had participated in a book study about The Lemonade War text by Jacqueline Davies. It was a heart-warming event to see the spirit and generosity of our students and staff to help do something good for others.
