Thanks for stopping by! I first heard about Alex's Lemonade Stand back in high school and was inspired (and saddened) by Alex's story. This organization has been on my radar ever since. My original plan was to run the New York City marathon on November 4th and when that event was cancelled, I was fortunate enough to join Team Lemon for the Philadelphia marathon. I was born in nearby Wilmington, Delaware and grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, so I have strong ties to the Philadelphia area. I'm excited to raise money for childhood cancer research and I'm excited about having another chance to run 26.2 miles (and unlike last year's Philly marathon...I promise to find the correct finish line!).
