On June 28, 2012, seven-year-old Isabella Santos died after a valiant, five-year fight with neuroblastoma, a deadly childhood cancer. On May 9, 2011, three-year-old Ronan Thompson also died of neuroblastoma, three days shy of his 4th birthday. So many other children have died as well, including Ty Louis Campbell (age 5), Lane Goodwin (age 13), Emma Joy Ford (age 4), and Avalannah Routh (age 6), just to name a few. They died because research had not yet caught up to their awful disease due to severe lack of funding. So in their honor, and in honor of the thousands of other children who have lost their battles or who are still bravely fighting cancer, let's raise money toward finding cures, so no more kids ever have to lose their lives to this awful disease.
