Welcome! In my quest to complete both a Half Ironman and a full marathon in the same year, I hope that you will help me to pay back a little of my blessings of good physical health and the ability to do such races by helping out some kids who fight cancer every day.  Most of you know how cancer has affected my life in losing my father and other family members. As difficult as that was to deal with, I cannot imagine how hard it must be for a family to have a child with cancer. I have a co-worker whose granddaughter was born with bone cancer. She has been in a body cast most of her life and endured numerous surgeries and treatments. She deserves a chance to run, play, hop, skip and jump just like any other little kid. Help me to make my marathon run in the Marine Corps Marathon on October 28 mean more than just a personal accomplishment for me. I really would like to have my efforts make a difference for some kids out there. Thanks and Peace - Andy.
