Hi! My name is Zoe Jarvis (You might be friend's with my mom, Ellen Jarvis. ) And for my Bat Mitzvah project, I'm raising money for Alex's Lemonade Stand. This is a small part of my project, but all together, I'm trying to reach my goal of at least 350 dollars! Now, Alex was a 4 year old girl with big dreams. However, she had a horrible childhood cancer. She knew she was going to pass soon. Eventually she did. But not without leaving a mark in the world. She spent her life doing lemonade stands. Magical, healing lemonades. The money all went to kids like her, who also had cancer. Now, let's be like Alex and help the kid's with cancer! Thanks so much for any donations.

Did you know that the word "blog" actually does have an origin? It's a shortened version of "web log" or "weblog." As in, where people would "log" things (i.e. journal) on the World Wide Web. Then someone else broke the word "weblog" up into "we blog," and then it just became "blog." Kinda cool, huh?
